AIMS OF MPU DELIVERANCE TEAM
Isa 61:1
The Spirit of the Lord God is on me,
Because the Lord has anointed me
To preach good tidings unto the meek.
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And the opening of the prison to them that bound
As a sub group within the church, our aim is to help members to remain steadfast in the Lord and manifest the works of the Holy Spirit.
We also intercede for the church and individuals who come to us.
The team is small family whose members are affectionately called ‘come out’ and sometimes ‘demon-chasers’. We are NOT demon chasers, the demons are not worth that much attention,   
They flee at a simple command, which every righteous Spirit-filled Christian is capable of doing without any difficulty. Deliverance actually forms about 10% of our activities.
We engage more in intercessory prayers and study of the Word. We also have talks and sometimes embark on evangelism.
We want to invite you to join us in service to God and mankind. All you need is to be a Christian willing to serve God. It doesn’t matter the gift(s) you have or do not have, once you are with us, you will be empowered to serve. Some are intercessors, councellors, chorestors, ushers, among others.
