VISION/MISSION STATEMENT: DAUGHTERS OF ZION

PREAMBLE:

You should not use outward aids to make yourselves beautiful, such as the way you do your hair or the jewellery you put on, or the dresses you wear. Instead, your beauty should consist of your true inner self, the ageless beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of greatest value in God’s sight. 1Peter3:3-4.

VISION/MISSION STATEMENTS

v To build up ladies who will love God through and through and understand the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

v .The ladies will be able to know the will of God for their lives and understand their calling as Daughters of Zion so as to live according to the standards of God through the programs that will be organized.

v To increase the attendance to meetings by five hundred at the end of the year. This will be done by undertaking interesting and educative programs which will be appealing to them and also by collaborating with the Hall presidents so as to increase and maintain the number during meetings.

v To train up ladies with the necessary skills to manage their lives and their future homes effectively through our special programs and other programs geared toward effective home keeping.

v To embark on massive evangelism and visitation. The evangelism will be geared toward building up their relationship with God while the purpose of the visitation is to create a cordial relationship between the executives and the members.

v To build up strong ties among the ladies wings of sister churches in order to fully achieve the purpose of our calling by organizing joint programs and through visitations.

CONCLUSION:

For by strength shall no man prevail (1 Sam. 2:9) and so we depend totally on the tutelage of the Holy Spirit, our guide and helper to lead us in accomplishing all these.
